Biutiful was recommended by my colleague. I have to say, the only thing that I like about this film is Javier's acting. His excellent performance amazed me greatly. However, the whole movie isn't good enough to support him. The story, the cinema photography, and the film editing etc. are just not new or interesting enough at all. Thus, Javier's acting somehow conflict with the movie.

In the end, a great actor who reminds me "Vicky Cristina Barcelona" and "No country for old man". And sorry to my colleague that I don't agree with your recommendation.
